FAR OUT #113 ~ Meeting Your Edge: Anti-Fragility and the Hero Archetype
Episode Description
How do we not only endure but thrive in unpredictable times?
While doing our year-end reviews and reflecting on 2020 we were surprised to realize all the ways our lives have significantly improved because of last year's chaos and uncertainty---rather than in spite of it.
This led us into a conversation about Nassim Taleb's idea of benefiting from volatility (or being "antifragile") and Jordan B. Peterson's ideas about facing the unknown through channeling the hero archetype.
Featured image is of our friend Mike enjoying the view from Cloud’s Rest in Yosemite during our 2019 Yosemite Retreat. We’re currently accepting applications for our 2021 retreat.
