In Kansas in 1993, at the age of 19, Shawna Ristic was on her way to shadowy places when she had a violent car accident. She was found on the opposite side of the freeway, forty feet from the wreckage, unconscious and turning blue.

Shawna woke up from a coma three weeks later. Doctors predicted severe brain damage and expected she'd never walk again. Within four weeks she walked out of the hospital completely healed.

During her time on the other side, Shawna experienced a spiritual awakening she would keep more or less quiet about for the next two decades, where she met a body of light beings she calls "The Council." When she returned to this world, she found herself blasted open energetically and in touch with overwhelming intuitive and psychic powers she hadn't known before.

We talk with Shawna about her extraordinary near death experience and her subsequent journey over the last 27 years as a healer and spiritual guide.
